With the growth of Higher Apprenticeships, students now have a real alternative to traditional university study. The opportunity to move your career forward, gain professional skills, status and accreditation – all while in a job and earning a salary is an option for students.
At the Southern Consortium we support our students through every stage of their application if an apprenticeship is their chosen route. As well as organising an apprenticeship fare we build employability skills through a range of guest speakers, workshops, activities and trips and assign each applicant a mentor to guide them through the application process.
In the past students have progressed onto apprenticeships in Engineering, ICT, the financial sector, catering and transport with many of these students now enjoying highly successful careers.
Whether students are applying to one of the country’s top Universities or a higher apprenticeship all of our students are guaranteed highly personalised and tailored support to ensure that they leave the Southern Consortium on a well matched, high quality and inspiring pathway.
